In these mixed-media paper works, I've created a harmonious interplay of ink, watercolor, and wax pencil on heavy watercolor paper in a minimal, sumi-e style.
The expressive and calligraphic strokes of ink flow with intention, conveying movement and fluidity, while the watercolor hints at vibrant hues that beautifully contrast with the simplicity of the black ink.
My aim is to allow beauty and expression to show through the convergence of color, shape, and form.
