The Art of Pysanky: Ukranian Easter Egg Workshop
The Art of Pysanky: Ukrainian Easter Egg Workshop π₯π¨
Easter is just around the corner, and we invite you to experience one of the most beautiful Ukrainian traditions β creating pysanky.
A pysanka is a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg decorated with intricate folk patterns using a special wax-resist technique. Instead of painting, the designs are carefully βwrittenβ on the egg with beeswax, creating unique and meaningful symbols that have been passed down through generations.
Join us to learn about the history and symbolism of pysanky and create your own beautiful Easter egg to take home. This workshop is perfect for anyone who would like to explore Ukrainian culture and enjoy a creative, relaxing afternoon.
β¨ All materials are provided
β¨No previous experience needed
Because the process involves an open flame and hot wax, this activity is recommended for participants ages 8 and older. Younger participants are welcome with close parental supervision.
Come celebrate tradition, creativity, and the spirit of Easter with us! π£π©΅π
