๐ Getting Supplies Together! ๐
The basics
The basic supplies you will need are:
Paint (tempera, or poster paint-same thingโ very inexpensive) We want to feel free to use as much as we want!
Brushes - a variety of sizes is best. Again, nothing too expensive- this is about feeling like if you ruin a brush, itโs ok. Hardware store, craft store, art supply store- anywhere. Long-handled is nicer to use.
a palette- could be a paper plate, a muffin tin, a tray, anything.
a water container- bigger is better. A pail, a big cup, something to hold water.
Paper- This is where to actually care- we want paper that can hold as much paint as you want. Also, bigger is better- gets your body involved. See links below.
push pins or t-pins or just tape
masking tape
support surface or easel - could be a wall, door, or whatever you have.
If you just want to get started quickly, you can go to the dollar sstore and get a few pieces of poster board, some of their TEMPERA paint and brushes, a paper plate, and a bucket. Done.
